Role OverviewThe Cloud Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect and implement cloud solutions that optimize performance, cost, and security. You should have expertise in cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation in cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across various platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Implement and maintain security protocols and best practices to safeguard cloud environments.
• Monitor cloud performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with development teams to create cloud-native applications and services.
• Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Optimize cloud resources to reduce costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.
• Provide support and guidance to teams regarding cloud solutions and best practices.
• Document cloud architecture, processes, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are preferred.
